ScreenShare is a live help tool. It is not a monitoring product. The screen is visible only during a session you start, and it is not saved as a recording.
What is stored
The server keeps the session code, the names you type, an optional note, the time the session was created, who joined, whether control was requested or allowed, and the IP address of those requests. That log can be downloaded by the person who created the session. It does not contain the screen, files, or a transcript of what was typed.
What is live
The picture of your screen goes directly between the two browsers when the network allows it. Chat, code snippets, and files are sent only to the other person in that session and are not saved on the server. The session log can include a file name, not the file itself. Mouse and keyboard events are sent only after you allow control, and only to the helper running on your own computer. Closing the session or pressing Stop stops the picture and the input.
What this does not do
There is no hidden mode, no background recording, and no key logging outside an active session you approved. The helper bar stays visible while it is running. macOS secure screens, such as some password dialogs, cannot be controlled, and this app does not try to bypass that.
